Thank you Ben for the great Article and we really appreciate your support especially on the Rubicon Trail! We look forwards to seeing you up here in Canada in the near future as we show you around the Great White North!

CT4WD will be opening in your province sometime within the 2010 year! The CT4WD Team has been working on developing the process in working to open across Canada in the similar way we've been working in Alberta.
We believe having divisions across Canada that are committed to educating and operating responsibly while helping each other become better will provide a better chance at keeping our trails open.
We invite all Toyota 4WD owner's to get involved in the forum and with the CT4WD Team to become the biggest and the best Toyota 4WD Association in the world. We look forwards to making the trip across this country to ensure Canada Toyota 4WD Association follows the ethics and values that we strive for in each province.
We are working to get Alberta fully under way then we will be working our way through British Columbia. Once that is fully operational we will be working right through to the East Coast. We value the "No Ego" mentality and with that we strive to have an Association that has no boundaries with no east coast vs. west coast or Calgary vs. Edmonton as we are Canada Toyota 4WD Association which means one.
We look forwards to meeting you soon!
After you've Clicked to Join and sent in your info... Get in the CT4WD Forum!

David (tent), Gary (Winch), Meghan (motochick), and Nathan (freeze) made a successful 4,400KM to California through the Rubicon Trail for Marlin Crawler's Round Up and back.
They endured gruelling 22 Mile trail full of boulders, rocks, dust, roots and granite slabs. Gary drove a 1st Gen TRD Off-Road solid axle swapped Tacoma, David drove a Trail Teams edition FJ Cruiser, and Nathan drove a 2nd Gen Tacoma TRD Off Road co-piloted by Meghan
They met up with the amazing people at 4WD Toyota Owner Magazine and were fortunate to have been able to 4WD with Ben, David and Kevin. Without meeting their crew, the trip would not have been as smooth and dent free!
The team from CT4WD were known as the crazy Canadians that drove all the way down in new Toyota 4WD's to drive the Rubicon. After completing the Walker Hill, Little Sluice and the Big Sluice, the CT4WD team had believed the worst was over according to the locals! The last 1KM to the Rubicon Springs was a extremely enduring with massive boulders, a steep decline and notorious body damage.
Arriving at Rubicon Springs for Marlin Crawler's Round Up, the team was greeted by cheers and applause as the Canadians that were deemed to not be able to make the trail due to small tires, IFS, and really clean body work made it. They also managed to win the furthest away award as they drove 2,200 KM to the event!
Gary, David, Meghan and Nathan had an incredible opportunity to sit and talk with Marlin, Christine and Big Mike for a almost two hours as Marlin was very interested to learn how far we came and where we were from. An incredible family behind the legend of the Marlin Crawler. That evening the crew from 4WD Toyota Owner Magazine were extremely hospitable and asked us to join them to stay at their camp. It was an early evening as they had to awake and depart at 5AM the next morning.
Believing the worst of the obstacles were over according to the locals, there was Cadillac Hill! A winding climb with tight boulder sections and trees, the end was not near. David sustained some encounters with the boulders but with Gary's incredible spotting the CT4WD team completed the three day excursion through the Rubicon Trail.
A huge thank you to Ben, David and Kevin of 4WD Toyota Owner Magazine, Marlin, Christine, Big Mike and the Marlin Crawler team for the amazing event and hospitality, Gary for his amazing spotting and Meghan for the spotting, food and photo's!
We will be invading the MCR9 with more Canadians next year!

Welcome aboard Heninger Toyota!
We're proud to announce our first Toyota Dealership that has stepped up in supporting our vision and philosophy in a very big way.
In on-going conversations for the past two months, we have worked out an agreement on how we will work together to promote responsible 4WD’ing while engaging Toyota Dealership support with the our Toyota 4WD community. We know how much we love our OEM Toyota parts even for the older generation Toyota’s!
Heninger Toyota believes in the complete philosophy of walking the talk. As an option, new Toyota Tacoma, Toyota FJ Cruiser, and Toyota 4Runner owner’s will be sent through our education system. This ensures new 4WD owner’s are educated in proper 4WD driving technics, proper trail ethics, treading lightly, and safe recovery techniques while taking part in a growing community of responsible Toyota 4WD owners.
If we start new owner’s in the right direction, it is a small part in working towards obtaining the larger goal of keeping our trails open.
We are also working together to change the “stealership” stereotype that Dealerships have in the 4WD community.
Heninger Toyota has also agreed to help our members with some great deals and support.
Here are some of benefits a CT4WD Full Member will receive:
Phase I
Phase II
A huge thank you to Wes and Michael at Heninger Toyota for working with us on making a difference and a step in the right direction!

What a fury of great updates for the Association!
We have already had two Intro Courses and 101 Course completed so far! Congratulations to the current graduates of the two courses. We are really excited to see so many members really behind our vision and philosophy of proper use of our backcountry.
We had our first Official 2 day trip to the Crowsnest Pass which proved to be very scenic and challenging. We are currently planning out the next 2 day trip to the Northern part of Alberta which should also provide a very exciting trip.
Tomorrow is our Official Easy Trail run and we expect to have about 15 trucks on the trail! We are now breaking up into smaller groups to cut down on the time it takes to make it through the obstacles as well as vehicle capabilities. Which provides something interesting for the more built Toyota's as well as the stockers.
Membership fees are due at the end of this month (August) so get in and purchase your yearly membership. We are also running a special if you purchase for 2 years there is a 20% savings on the second year!
Stay tune for some really exciting stuff coming next month....!!
