This course is directed to all members (no prerequisite is required for this course) and is suitable for any individual who works, lives or takes trips in isolated or wilderness areas.
It is recommended that you sign up your significant other or co-pilot.
This three-day course, led by a Certified Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid Instructor, will be held both in class and at a OHV location, in and around the Calgary region. Further

100% attendance, skills demonstration and 75% minimum passing grade at written exam is required.
Aim:
The aim of this course is to cover material in Standard First Aid and CPR, plus special contact on techniques for wilderness and remote areas as well as strategies for providing
extended care for up to 24 hours.
At the end of the course you will have a 3 year certification in Wilderness and Remote First Aid, CPR Level B and AED.
